SUMMARY:Founders' Day 2025 - AA's 90th Birthday Celebration!
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 21st \n4pm to 10 pm \n1st Congregational Church\, corner of Hamilton and Leigh\, Campbell \nJoin us in celebrating the 90th anniversary of Alcoholics Anonymous’ founding! This milestone marks the incredible journey since Dr. Bob achieved sobriety on June 10th and collaborated with Bill W in 1935\, establishing the foundation of 12-Step recovery.\n \nJoin us on Saturday\, June 21st\, from 4 PM to 10 PM at the 1st Congregational Church\, located at the corner of Hamilton and Leigh in Campbell.  \nThe event will feature two insightful speakers\, AA Trivia\, group games\, raffle prizes\, a 50/50 raffle (bring cash!)\, a delicious BBQ dinner\, and a dance! Enjoy fun\, food\, and fellowship with fellow AA members. And yes\, you can come and go\, but need a wristband for dinner and dancing. \nTo ensure this event remains self-supporting\, we suggest a $20 donation. After covering expenses\, all proceeds will benefit our Santa Clara County Intergroup Central Office. Pre-purchase online to receive an electronic ticket\, or a paper ticket from your Intergroup representative. This helps us anticipate number of people attending.
